Short version: I collect what you send me through the contact form, I use it to reply to you, and I don’t sell or share it.

Who this is
This website belongs to Caeden’s Website Design, operated by Caeden Morris in Birmingham, Alabama. You can reach me at caedenmorris@gmail.com or (205) 607-1223 about anything on this page.
What I collect
When you submit the contact form, I receive whatever you typed into it:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your business name, if you entered one
- Your phone number, if you entered one
- The subject you selected and any message you wrote
Name and email are required because I cannot reply without them. Everything else is optional and the form works fine without it.
If you call, text or email me directly instead, I have whatever that method shows me — your phone number or your email address — along with what you tell me.
What I use it for
To reply to you, to put together a mockup or quote if you asked for one, and to keep working with you if you decide to go ahead. That is the entire list.
I do not sell your information, rent it, trade it, or hand it to anyone for marketing. I will not add you to a mailing list, and I do not send marketing texts or emails to people who contacted me about a website.
Who else touches it
Two services are involved in getting your message to me, and neither one uses it for anything of their own:
- Web3Forms processes the contact form submission and forwards it to my email. Your message passes through their system on the way to me.
- Google hosts this website and provides the email inbox your message lands in.
Beyond that, I may be legally required to disclose information if I am ordered to by law. That is the only other circumstance.
Analytics and cookies
This site uses Google Analytics to count visitors and see which pages people actually read. It tells me things like how many people visited this week, which page they landed on, and roughly what part of the world they were in. It does not tell me who you are, and I have turned off the advertising and ad-personalization features.
Google Analytics sets a cookie in your browser to recognize repeat visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s opt-out add-on, and this site will still work normally.
This site does not run advertising trackers, social media pixels, or any third-party marketing tags.
How long I keep it
Inquiries that do not turn into work are deleted once it is clear nothing is going ahead, generally within about a year. If you become a client, I keep our correspondence and your project details for as long as I am working with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you come back needing changes.
Having your information removed
Email or call me and ask, and I will delete what I have about you and confirm once it is done. You do not need a reason and there is no form to fill in.
Security
This site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, so anything you type into the form is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, and I would say the same thing about any website: please don’t send passwords, card numbers or other sensitive details through a contact form — mine or anyone else’s.
Children
This is a service for businesses and is not directed at children. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If I change how any of this works, I will update this page and change the date at the top.
